Alright, who let the cat out of the box.  To all those ladies out there looking for a young strong very cute boy, this here is Tiger. He loves to cuddle, will play all night if you want him to, and purrs at just a glance. Just kidding ladies, he's not available. This cat is very taken.  We have grown very fond of our friendly feline. Not even a year and he has already lost one of his nine lives, by getting his leg stuck under our truck while I'm driving to the backyard. Luckily, he was just sore for a day or so. 

Who said Oregon rains all the time. We had a good weekend. Even got a small trail ride in. And my little Tennessee gelding that has only been riden a handful of times, did excellent. He should be ready for 4H this year. We walked over logs without jumping. Walked through water without hesitation. And climbed a mountain and back down again. Our girls did good too. Ky decided that she didn't want to take her horse over a log quietly, so Cheif and I stayed behind to get her over. I think Ky has the record for falling off a horse the most without trying. She just knows how to spin herself of these horses quicker than a falling star. The horse jumped the log and instead of sitting back she went forward and made a nice spiraling spin in the air that would make even the most skilled stuntman blush. She didn't know whether to laugh or cry, but I think after all of us giggling at the sight, we got her rolling with laughter also. Nice job Ky!  Even though she thinks we don't see it, she is a strong girl. She just needs to find her way through her obstacles.

  The rain returns. The night started with a full-looking moon and finished with gushing rain that has not stopped all day. There is an end in sight I'm told. Tomorrow is to bring cold air and foggy days to return, Yeepeee!!!!  I need to start working with my mares, but looks like I'll be staying close to the fire instead. I'll start riding the fairgrounds again next week. Mom needs to start riding again too, so I guess it's off to the arena.
