Ok, today was one of those clean up the house days. And a little of the wash the dogs also. The picture is of my Ridgeback, Cosmo, trying to get away from the bathroom. Cosmo does not like bath time at all. I had to literally lift my 100 pound baby, with all of his legs scattered out to catch anything that would push him away, into the tub. I've had less trouble with horses crossing water then this. Grizzly, our aussie-border collie made it out of the bath just fine and twirled around the house for about a half an hour afterwards. It was like watching taz from the cartoons whirl through the house.
Well, things have thawed some today. But rain is back in the forcast. The barn is still frozen, but the rest of the water lines are working properly. I would like to see one day in the next week or so that is over freezing and not totally raining. I wanted to take the girls to the fairgrounds, so they can get some arena work in. I hope I get some time. I haven't rode in at least a month and I'm itching for some riding time.
Ok, I got an electic guitar for my birthday and I'm trying to learn. My fingers are almost raw now. I want to start playing some awesome riffs, but of course I'm starting from the very beginning and I'm sooooo impatient. Scott keeps telling me that I'm going to end up putting the guitar in the closet and never look at it again. Hello, Does he not get that I've always wanted to play. I guess I'll show him though. I'm not the kind of person to ask for something and then toss it when the new is gone. But time will tell.
