Satins
The whole family has their own Satins.  We concentrate mainly on White Satins, but we also have Black Satins, Blue Satins, Chocolate Satins, and Broken Satins.  We were First in White Satins in the National Sweepstakes in 2005, and Second Overall, so we we are very pleased with our stock and our breedings.  We also did very well at Satin Nationals in Texas in 2005, with our White Satins getting Best White Satin, and Best Opposite Sex, and taking first in 4 of the 6 classes of White Satins in some very large classes.  We also got Best Opposite Sex Blue Satin and several of our Black Satins were in the top 5 of their classes.  It is all a very humbling experience as you can do very well at one show and be at the bottom at the next show.

We are very pleased with our foundation stock, where we've concentrated on fur, depth, overall body condition, and hindquarters.  We do a lot of line breeding to maintain what we have, and are working with some outcrosses to help improve upon any weaknesses.

Once the weather warms up a bit we'll be taking some pictures of our foundation stock as well as our show stock.  We also plan on providing a section of Major Winnings.  Stock is almost always available so please check with us, if interested.  We typically have anything from Pet Quality, to excellent Show Stock, and Breeding Stock as well.

Brianna's Meat Pen for the Elbert County Fair.  She got Reserve Champion Meat Pen, which later sold for $850. Recently "weaned" satins in two, 4-stacks with 3-way dividers built by Bob Day.  These are great for weaned babies!
