"To My Friend"

As each day passes I miss you more and more,
And I often wonder what I had to move for.
I wish I could come back with all my heart,
But I know I can't so I must make a new start.

I have made new friends but there's something I must say,
That friends like you don't come by everyday.
Your fun, nice, pretty and sweet,
These are the qualities which can never be beat.

I have had the privilege that most people will not get,
Because they have not met a friend like you yet.
You have given me the chance to see,
Just what a true and dear friend should be.

I wanted to say thanks for everything you've done,
Because you have shown me the true meaning of fun.
I miss you more than you will ever know,
And I will always hold you in my heart and soul.
