Remember.....Breeding Bulldogs is a difficult, time consuming, expensive & risky business......it can be heartbreaking on occasions. ONLY do so for the right reasons.

              Poor excuses include :

"I would like my bitch to experience Motherhood"......and risk her life doing so ?

"We need the money".....What money ? Taking into account stud fees, caesarian sections, other possible medical bills, weeks off work to care for the pups (which require 24 hour care for the first three weeks or more), the cost of rearing pups & maybe, unfortunately, STILL losing the litter after all this.....there is very little money to be made from the breeding of Bulldogs !

If you DO breed, always be prepared to take back pups you have sold if the new owners can no longer care for them...for whatever reason.

If you can't, DON'T breed !

**Puppies are sweet & cute, and sell quite easily.....but if you are looking to buy a Bulldog, why not consider an older dog ?

There are many lovely, older Bulldogs in Rescue, through no fault of their own, who would love nothing better than having a real home and a family to love....please visit the Bulldog Rescue Website and see for yourself - but be sure to take a tissue along.

I work as a Volunteer for Bulldog Rescue. We have a small network of Volunteers around the country. Our tasks include vetting prospective new owners & their homes, collecting & transporting rescued Bullies, assessing & fostering where necessary. Although it can be heartbreaking on occasions, being a part of Rescue is also very rewarding.

Could YOU help Bulldog Rescue? See the website for more details!
