FRINQ E-zine write up
Crying out loud
An overall good job on the e-zine is what I feel I and my group did. I think that it could have been a little better, but I still feel that what we did was a good job, and I am happy with our outcome. I know that my group put a lot of effort into the making of our e-zine and I think it turned out good and I am proud of the work that we accomplished and shared with each other.
I feel that I did my share in the creation of the e-zine and that I did what I needed to do to get the work done. I helped brainstorm ideas and topics that could/ would be covered in the magazine. I supplied a few sources, including a poetry book for one section of our e-zine, and I wrote my article and found graphs that were posted on it as well. And not all of the graphs I found related to my topic. Some of them were related to Jenn�s topic. I believe that I was an asset to my group and that I helped out in the ways that I was capable.
I also believe that I helped in the set up of our site. Beth, needed help in figuring out what looked best, and we all worked together, playing with set up ideas and colors and content and where what should go, and I think that I helped in this just as much as all of the other member of my group did.
I feel that I could have made earlier tries at getting the group together in the very beginning, but seeing as how we were all working on other things at the time, including other projects for this class, it was difficult to start as soon as we got the assignment. I do feel that I could have also written my article faster then I did and I think that would have left me more time to search other things for the site other then the time that I did allow myself. I think that the only way that I could have changed that is to just have focused more on that then I did. Also, only one member had their article done when we said that we wanted them done on a specific date, and I feel that if I would have talked to my other group members a little more then I could have maybe helped them with there article, but then again, I would have had to have mine done on time as well. I did try to keep a push on everyone though, and I think that I did do a good job on encouragement, but could have encouraged more perhaps.
I think that only one conflict arose in our group and that was at the very end, one member didn�t have their article done, and it was due in just a few minutes. And that group member hadn�t shown up yet. Unbeknownst to us, she had sent us the paper via email but we didn�t know. So I called her and found out and our group was able to get it on the site in no time and the site was finished on time for class and looked good. I think that I did what I could to make that situation better by calling our group member and getting the information that we needed.
I feel that the members of my group would describe me as willing to work and helpful. I think that I am both of those as I am willing to work and do my share of the work and help out anyone else if they need the help. I also think that they might describe me as part leader and that I helped to get the group on task at times, which I think I did, as well as everyone else at their own time.
Overall I feel that I did what was expected of me and maybe a little more. I helped come up with ideas and worked as a team with my group members. I believe that our site turned out good and that there were just a few places that I could have worked a little more on. But I do feel that I did a good job and that everyone else in my group did an overall good job as well and that I am happy with our outcome and happy with site.
