This is Jasmine, my daughter's mare.  Here they are pictured together.  Jasmine is a special little mare, she came to my daughter shortly after she was diagnosed with Leukemia.  Jasmine is part of a very special program called Personal Ponies.  Personal Ponies supplies ponies for kids with special needs.  It is a really great program & There is  a link to it at the bottom of the page for anyone who would like to know more.
Jasmine is a 5 year old mare.  She has been with my daughter for almost 3 years now.  As you can see by the picture they have a very special bond.  (Top Picture)

(Above) Carlie and Jasmine strike a pose!  Don't they both look so proud of each other?  They are such a pair.
This is JEM Sable.  2 year old filly who was to be bred for my first foal this spring.  Unfortunately we lost her after only having the pleasure of knowing her a few short months.  I am posting her story in hopes I might save some one else the heart ache of learning a lesson.  Sable was a very special girl who warmed her way into all of our hearts right away.  Unfortunately she died after eating Red Maple leaves this fall.  I was unaware that they were poisonous and she had one just outside of her pen.  I believe the leaves fell into her water and poisoned the water.  There are several poisonous plants, and I STRONGELY urge anyone prepairing a pasture for a horse make sure anything surrounding the pasture is safe.  Remember, leaves fall and blow around.
