Part 7

Roberto sat up, his hand to his burning shoulder blood ozing through his fingers. He started to sit up, but stopped feeling the weight of another body aginst his. He looked down at Nina, she looked like a frail lilly left out in a storm. He lifted up her head, and held her aginst him.

"Nina? Nina? Please.. wake up!" he pleased "Nina please.." He shook her gently, and took his head away from the back of her head, checking for blood. He found himself almost in tears with relief when he found none.

He picked her up, carrying her in her arms, protectivly like a father does a child.



*Some time later at the hospital*



It had been a while since Roberto had Brought Nina to the Hospital, it seemed as if she lay there forever, in the bed him at her side.
He had fallen asleep his head on her shoulder, she lay quiet, sleeping as well. He hoped that one day, he would beable to be at her side, incase anything happened, to protect her anything and everything that could happen to her. He never wanted her to be harmed agin, and suddenly a wave of protectiveness came over him, he reached up and took her hand in his, suddenly never wanting anyone or anything harmfull to come to her ever agin. And if so, they would have to get through him.
He sighed, knowing he'd have to go for the night, stood up still holding her hand. He leanded down, kissing her softly on her forehead.

"R..Roberto?" She said softly

Suprised Roberto stood up quickly, still holding her hand.

"yes?" came the soft reply.

"I'm really sorry..about..what I did..if you never want to..talk to me..agin..I understand."

He laughed, kissing her forehead agin even softer this time.

"It's alright Nina, it wasn't your fault." He said reassuringly, brushing her hair from her face.

She sat up with some effort and kissed him softly.

"Roberto, I love you." she said softly, looking down at her hands her cheeks completly red He smiled softly, putting hand under Nina's chin, kissing her back.

"I love you too."
