Living in Louisiana for almost three years, I can say that people over here are very friendly and kind-hearted.First, I am afraid that nobody will talk to me because I am a stranger, but my thought is totally wrong. Despite all the barriers of different languages, people around me or I can say "my friends" are very patient to listen to what I try to communicate with them, and hence my English improves steadily.
I will transfer to another university next semester, but I will never forget this place where I met many many good friends.
