| This midsize casino is bigger than it first appears, as it twists and turns and reaches far back into the property. There's no rhyme or reason to the layout, except that it does seem to spin around you and engulf you like a cocoon. The slots eat your money, but waitress service is really good, especially at the $10 - $15 minimum table games.I'd rather gamble at Harrah's cramped casino than most others. | It has a pool only because it absolutely has to. It's not heated (although that's unnecessary in desert summer months) and it's lame. The cocktail service elevates it above the typical municipal pool. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Barely adequate free parking in the rear garage. Access is difficult, as it is for hotels between Sands/Spring Mountain Road and Flamingo Road. With somewhat limited space, they will frequently ask for a room key or Total Rewards Club card to access the garage. I am not willing to accept anything but no-strings-attached free parking in Las Vegas, because I'm afraid that if I do it'll start costing a quarter to use the rest rooms. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Attractions? The closest thing is Toby Keith's restaurant and a monorail stop. But I do love headliner Rita Rudner. Sophisticated but clean (altough only adults will appreciate the subtlety,) soft-spoken but packing a wallop. A really endearing and enjoyable laugh-fest. Outdoor Carnaval Court is a lively watering hole. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

| There's no cheap good food, but it's near McDonald's and Chipotle. The buffet has recently been remodeled, but still doesn't rank high in desirability given the high price. Middle America might enjoy Toby Keith's Bar & Grill. The restaurants at Caesars Palace across the street will overall beat the food offerings at Harrah's. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
