The "Windy city". The Lake Michigan Shore. The railroads, the Illinois Central. The Union Stockyards. The meat packing. The fire of 1871. The Loop. The beautiful architecture, the skyline. Navy Pier, Old Town, Michigan Avenue.

Chicago was an open gate to the Mid-west and the far-west of USA. There were the markets for the goods produced in Chicago“ companies: Mc Cormick and International Harvester, Pullman Co., Sears, Roebuck, Illinois Steel.

The wind is best experienced atop of the highest buildings: Sears Tower, John Hancock Center.
