February 24th - THE RENEGADES OF SLUTS debut CD is being duplicated as you read this. The 9 song disc will be available at our headlining show at the Biker Heaven motorcycle rally in Bumpass, VA on Saturday April 6th. We will be performing a CD release bash in Chesapeake, VA on Friday April 12th. Also available at both shows will be our Limited Edition XXX CD single "Sinsational- The Ballad Of Brittany Andrews". Check out the "Meat Market" section on this site for addresses and more information.

(posted) February 16th - Dick Nux has come up with a hot ass new riff. We have added bass, drums & lyrics to it, giving us a brand new tune. Another one of those 5 minute writing sessions. Hey, if it ain't broke..... The new tune is called "Motorcycle Mama".

February 8th - Ink, ink and more ink......Dick Butter & Dick Tattoo brought February in with a celebration of ink. Jerry Thomas up at Toucan Tattoo inked in a red Rolling Stones tongue logo on Butters right outside calf & added a black & grey Civil War cannon to Tattoos right elbow. Both Dicks are extremely happy as of press time.....

February 6th - Dick Dog & Dick Tattoo have been busy working on the booklet for the debut release from THE RENEGADES OF SLUTS. The booklet will contain band pics, information & a special thanks section. We will be posting the lyrics to all 9 tracks here on the Slusite as soon as the disc is released. Look for a late February release date to be announced soon.

(posted) January 26th - For all of you Metalheads out there...... pick up the recently re-released Sacred Rite albums on CD and check out the forward (inside the booklet) on both. They were written by none other than our own Dick Butter, a true blue Sacred Rite fan. He was contacted by The Rite, then contacted a friend at the Sentinel Steel record label about re-releasing Sacred Rites' 3 LPs on CD. He got the band and the label together and a year and a half later the CDs finally came out. Butter was asked if he would write a paragraph or two for the booklets. Pick up your copies now and see what he has to say about the one and only Sacred Rite.

January 21st - Dick Butter added to his skin art today. Jerry Thomas of Toucan Tattoo inked in a Thin Lizzy logo above an outline/caricature of Phil Lynott (founding member of Thin Lizzy). Butter is evened out now, with ink on both arms just below the shoulder.

January 12th - Dick Tattoo couldn't stand it any longer. Being almost two weeks into 2002 with no new ink finally took its toll. Jerry Thomas at Toucan Tattoo inked in a custom piece, filling in the top outside and back of Dick Tattoos right arm. The new piece ties in with the American flag banner and the King Of Diamonds playing card. The newest addition is a 8" tall x 5" wide Confederate flag with flames. Beautiful work, and a fine addition to what is becoming a very nice sleeve.

January 12th - For those of you in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia, pick up the new issue of Ninevolt magazine. There is a ballot in there to vote for your favorite local bands. Although THE RENEGADES OF SLUTS are not on the ballot, there is a space for a "write-in" vote. The "write-in" categories are "Best Vocalist", "Best Guitarist", "Best Bassist" and "Best Drummer". Fill it out and write in Dick Tattoo, Dick Nux, Dick Butter, and Dick Dog and mail that fucker in.
