November 29th - The new Ninevolt magazine has the ballot for the Virginia Rock Awards inside. Grab a copy and write in your votes for Best Drummer, Best Guitarist, Best Bassist and Best Vocalist. You know who to cast those votes for! THE RENEGADES OF SLUTS are always spouting off about excercising your right to vote, so get out there and do it! Elect the Wad Quad!
November 18th - The Kings Of Cock Rock return! THE RENEGADES OF SLUTS went into the Dick Nux Compound this past weekend and recorded what will be our contribution for the upcoming Scatboy Records release of a Motorhead tribute album. This was the first time all four members of R.O.S. have been in the same room with instruments since early September. Regular jam sessions start back up this weekend. We are gearing up for our return to the stage after 3 months (to the day).
November 3rd - Damn! What the fuck kind of hiatus was that? No posts since September? Damn, Tattoo.... you're getting slack. That is with a SL, not a SM (wink, wink). THE RENEGADES OF SLUTS will be performing at the Little Creek Inn the second weekend of December. Check out the "Meat Market" section on this site for the details.
November 3rd - THE RENEGADES OF SLUTS will be entering the studio to record the Motorhead tune "Cradle To The Grave" for the "Remember me, I'm Motorhead" tribute album that will be released by Scatboy Records in early 2005. Seeing as we are big fans of Motorhead and we always open our shows with this tune, it was only natural that we chose to record it for the tribute.
November 3rd - Well, the election is over and THE RENEGADES OF SLUTS would like to thank everyone who went to the polls and excercised their American right to vote. It is no secret that we support the pro gun candidates, we are the only band in our area that is endorsed by the NRA. Again, thanks for voting and for those of you who cast that ballot for President Bush, thank you for supporting the Second Amendment and keeping freedom alive.
(posted) September 12th - September 11th - Dick Tattoo took home the 2nd Place trophy for Best Tattoo today at the Cycle Mania rally. The rally took place in Chesapeake, VA and all money raised was to benefit Special Olympics. The King playing card on his outside right bicep once again took the honor. The trophy will be given to Jerry Thomas and put on display with all the others at Toucan Tattoo.
September 12th - Thanks to all the Sluts and Whoremongers who made it out this past weekend to show your support for THE RENEGADES OF SLUTS. Our first performances at the Little Creek Inn went over well. The club owner told us that we had the largest two crowds EVER in there. Friday night they ran out of Jack Daniels, and Saturday night they ran out of Bud Light. Thanks are in order..... if your name isn't listed, give us a break.... WE KNOW YOU WERE THERE! Thanks to The Southern Platinum Bellz Allison & Darlene for making the trip up from South Carolina, Beth, Jean, Virginia, Tiffany, Tricia, Cyndi, Stephanie, Jen, Chrissy, Trina, Zoe, Roxanne, Eva, Nicole, Sheena, Andee, Dick Bag & his lovely wife Tea, Phlemmy from Capricorn USA (aka Dick Butter), Dick Photog & his lovely wife Dick Doc, TJ the DJ, Ronny, Eric, Dan The Man, Tony, Richard, Tobi, Joe Frost & his lovely wife Rose along with the most wasted chick that has ever been to one of our shows - Gerri, and last but not least... all you fuckers who kept buying the band drinks both nights! Special Thanks to James Faw for giving us the best sound in town, without a doubt. If we left out your name, which WE KNOW WE DID, thanks to you too! August 29th - Thanks to all the sluts and whoremongers who made it out to the "last minute, spur of the moment, no warning" show on Friday night, the 27th. Around 4:30 pm, we get a call asking if we can play a show in Portsmouth, opening for Dreadline. Well, maybe. What time? 10 pm. OK, that gives us 5 1/2 hours to contact all the band members, load up equipment, come up with an hour long set list, call some people to let them know, get to the club, load in, set up and play. After not having played or even any practice AT ALL since the KISS Expo at the beginning of the month. We'll be there. Thanks to Dreadline for having all their stuff together, a killer PA, and doing all they could to work with us. Thanks also to John from Loud As Hell Entertainment for considering THE RENEGADES OF SLUTS in a crunch. Apologies to all who were not called and/or informed..... it was a last minute effort. The show went off well. Excellent for less than 6 hours notice. Ladies and Gentlemen..... Rock & Roll!
