(posted) July 12th - First off lets just say that if you missed the show on the 10th, you blew it big time. All three bands rocked it harder than that club has ever seen. Capricorn USA (Dick Butters new band) destroyed everybody with their debut performance..... totally awesome. The GoNowheres came on next, caught everyone by surprise and just blew the roof off the place. Then, the moment of triumph as THE RENEGADES OF SLUTS took the stage on their first local show since the arrival of Dick Tater on bass. The set list (as well as the temperature in the club) was sweltering! We unveiled 3 brand new tunes from our upcoming album and the crowd loved every second of it. We had fans from as far away as South Carolina in the house. South Carolina, North Carolina, Williamsburg fans made it..... and slack fuckers from Norfolk and Va. Beach didn't even bother to come out. Thanks (in no order whatsoever) to: Dick Bag and his lovely wife Tea, Gang Dick, All Dick, Dick Docta, Dick Butt, Beth, Brattany, Dick Virginia, Dick Sugar, The Platinum Southern Bellz Alison & Darlene, Nicole, Tobi, Jessica, TJ the DJ, Danny, Joe Frost and his (sober) wife, members of Ironhead, Dalinquent, ORDAINED, Kung Fu Dykes..... the list goes on and on. Too many of you fuckers to list!!! Thanks for all the support. And a big NO THANKS to those band members who didn't show up to check us out, even though we come out and support your asses when you play. You know who you all are.
July 8th - This Saturday night, July 10th, will be our first show in Virginia since the arrival of new bassist Dick Tater. This show is going to be the largest turn out for the club since they opened two years ago. Three great bands for one low price! First off will be the new band Capricorn USA. This is former R.O.S. bassist Dick Butters new band. They play ALL Motorhead tunes in tribute to one of the greatest bands ever. Be sure to get there early enough to check them out. This is their debut show. Next up is the GoNowheres. Great band with some high energy rock and roll. These guys play all over, so their fans are sure to pack out the place. Rounding out the bill will be the one and only southern pride cock rock drunken swagger of THE RENEGADES OF SLUTS. We expect tons of fat girls without boyfriends, so guys......this is your chance! July 8th - We have to go back and re-record a few drum tracks for our upcoming release. Turns out that Dick Dog was all hopped up on liquor and blow and played three of the tunes like he was Dave Lombardo from Slayer. Of course, we didn't notice at the time because it was kick fucking ass. When we went back and attempted to lay down the bass and guitar tracks, everyone was like "Fuckin' A! That stuff is faster than Pete Pope running from the cops!" To all of you who don't know Pete, that is fucking fast as a motherfucker. Recording sessions for drums, bass and guitars will resume next week while Tattoo is out in Vegas and Hollywood.
July 1st - Recording sessions for the upcoming RENEGADES OF SLUTS album are in full swing. Drum tracks for "Poor White Trash", "Carolina Fine", "Marilyn", "Trick Of The Trade" and "Incurable Disease" have been completed. Dog will be working on a new tune, "Screen Door Blues" tonight, finishing up his drum tracks for the remaining two songs by Saturday the 3rd. We will be recording this entire holiday weekend, trying to get as much done as possible. If all goes as planned, all recording will be finished by the time we play our show in Norfolk on the 10th. With a bit of luck, the new album will be done and ready for release to the masses in time for our performances at the Charlotte KISS Expo coming up next month. Stay tuned....
June 27th - The Kreatures Of The South site (for the KISS Expo) has been updated. The website now has the complete guest line-up listed. This will be a killer Expo, for those of you who have never attended one - now is the time! THE RENEGADES OF SLUTS will be performing on both Saturday & Sunday. June 25th - THE RENEGADES OF SLUTS will begin recording our new album starting Forth Of July weekend. The as-yet-to-be titled full length will contain at the very least 8 songs, possibly 9 or 10. The recording will be done at the Dick Nux compound in Va. Beach, VA. Too soon to be confirmed, but all four Dicks hope to have the album completed in time for their appearance at the 3rd Annual Charlotte KISS Expo in August. Check back often for the latest updates concerning the sessions.

June 14th - Be sure to check out the "Meat Market" section on this site for a new show date. Dick Butter has asked R.O.S. to headline the debut show of his new band Capricorn USA. The show will take place in Norfolk, VA in July. Capricorn USA is a Motorhead tribute band with former Slut Dick Butter at the helm on vocals and bass. Come on out and show your support for ALL Sluts, past and present!
June 14th - THE RENEGADES OF SLUTS would like to thank all who made it out to the BACA 3rd Annual Bull Roast this past weekend. Special thanks go out to Dick Licker & Dick Abstinance, who made it out from New York City. Also Brandon the DJ and Dave and his crew who ran sound for us. We all had a blast and as always would like thank all who showed up to support this great cause. Special thanks also to Sharon, Bob and Stork for having everything run smoothly. We will be posting a new photo gallery with pics from the show soon.
