December 29th - January 1st - The annual NYC New Years trip was a blast! Things got started earlier than expected, as Dick Tattoo left Virginia way ahead of schedule. Dick Worker was along as driver and "handler" to make sure no mishaps like last year occured. Arriving at 8 pm, the pair took the Staten Island ferry into The City. After riding the subway to Penn Station, they hopped onto the Long Island Railroad. Big John picked the pair up at the terminal upon their arrival in Long Island and they were taken to Brahma Limo HQ. The next two days were spent all over NYC, including the first extended visit to Chinatown. New Years Eve found Tattoo & Worker in the Times Square crowd as usual. Security was tight, and Dick Tattoo was searched 4 times before being admitted into the crowd. This year we were not in our usual place right at the corner of 43rd & Broadway, thanks to the high security alert and extra barricades, etc. After the ball dropped, Dick Tattoo & Dick Worker made their way back to the hotel, which they had scored for a measly $115 ON NEW YEARS EVE RIGHT IN TIMES SQUARE! Crashing out around 3 am, they got up at 9, went and got breakfast and bought $6 5 hour porno DVDs before checking out and heading back home. December 28th - Dick Tattoo will be making his annual winter trip to NYC for the celebration in Times Square. Our good buddy and honorary member Dick Clark is once again scheduled to make his appearance as well. For those of you who tune into the live broadcast on New Years Eve, be on the lookout for a Confederate flag in the crowd. Dick Tattoo always manages to get down into the main part of the crowd, right beneath the tower that lowers the ball at One Times Square. Watch for Dick Tattoo with the colors waving high in the crowd. A little Southern Pride live in NYC!

November 12th - Ink update: Dick Tattoo has added new ink to his right inside forearm. Jerry Thomas at Toucan Tattoo inked in the Egyptian God Horus (the hawk) between the tattoos of the Egyptian God Thoth and the right half of the Great Sphinx. The custom piece was done in just under 2 hours.

(posted) October 12th - dateline September 22nd through 29th - The recent Las Vegas and California trip went over well. Although Hurricane Isabel threatened to destroy the trip, the show must go on. Dick Tattoo arrived as scheduled in Sin City Las Vegas on September 22nd, and the party started immediately. Gambling, drinking and raising Hell until the hours of the early morning. On Thursday the 25th, Dick Dog arrived to attend the 10 year wedding vow renewal ceremony for Dick Bag (from the band Download). Also in attendence for the ceremony were Dick Bags wife Tea (of course), their daughter Tara and niece Amy, Dick Tattoo, Dean, All Dick, Jerry & Angie, Will, Bea and their two boys, and Lugo and his girlfriend Mary Beth. All the guys were decked out 50's greaser style wth jeans, white tee shirts with rolled up sleeves and black shades as we all took limos from the Stratosphere Hotel Casino to the chapel. After the ceremony, it was party time again until late late night, early morning. The following morning, Dick Tattoo and Dick Dog were dropped off at the airport for the California leg of the trip. Starting in Burbank and ending up in Hollywood. While in Hollywood, they blasted into all the hotspots, including The Whiskey, Roxy, Rainbow, Viper Room, Hustler Hollywood store, the Walk Of Fame, Chinese Theatre Walk Of Fame, Sunset Strip, Guitar Center RockWalk, Griffith Park, Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive, and the world famous Hollywood sign. That night, THE RENEGADES OF SLUTS single "Sinsational - The Ballad Of Brittany Andrews" was played live on the radio with a corresponding webcast from the KSEX radio studios. Dick Tattoo got completely wasted off a fifth of Jack and ended up passing out after the interview (no surprise there!). That left The Dog to roam the streets of Hollywood and check out a few titty bars and clubs. Arriving back in Vegas on Saturday, MTV called Dick Tattoo 4 times on his cell phone to get Tattoo & Dog in the new Alien Ant Farm video that was being filmed in Vegas Sunday night. Tony Hawk had a skateboard competition set up in front of the stage, which two RENEGADES OF SLUTS members were in the crowd for also. Look for Dick Tattoo and Dick Dog in the crowd on MTV starting December 6th on the "Triple Threat" skateboarding finals. No date has been set for the release of the new music video from AAF, which both members of THE RENEGADES OF SLUTS were also a part of. Right up in front of the guitarist. MORE SLAG
