Recipe 3 -Stock Roller Motor (250 Horsepower)
First Thing: please remember to
install high strength rod bolts, Fords are very weak in this area.
A roller motor is by far your easiest/hardest horsepower
drop-in. Great torque and horsepower curves with great
streetability. But........
If you are not familiar with the wiring of a roller cammed motor,
you are in for a nightmare. I learned because I had to with my
dad’s installation in his '86 Mustang. And the only thing
that saved our butts several times are that my cousin is in the
top ten, as far as mechanics go, in the nation. My advice is - If
you don't need too don't do it. Leave it to the pros.
