The Picture I went by
  I Started with 1.5" wide stainless steel strips .188 thick. Had a machinist I work with roll 2 loops with 5" diameters. I then drilled holes in them for mounting. Then I fabricated 2 long bent strips. I then drilled holes to mount the 2 loops.

The driveshaft loop is to be placed 6 inches from the universal joint according to NHRA Rules.

Looks like the picture to me and I know they are very strong.
