Hello!

       Welcome to the SRD information page. In 2000 SRD was hosted by ME#90 Randolph and the theme was Sparkling Elegance.

       There were some changes that year. The location was in Augusta at the Civic Center ,for the first time ever, from April 28th and 29th. The registration fee that year was $20.00 instead of the $15.00 it had been in the past. Charms were $3.00.

       The hotels used were the Holiday Inn and the Comfort Inn, both were in close proximity to the Civic Center, and both were filled up for SRD shortly after the information was released. Other hotels that were used were:

REGISTRATION & SALES OPENED AT 12:30 p.m.
HOSPITALITY ROOM OPENED 12:30 TO 4:00 p.m.
KOPS HONOR SOCIETY WORKSHOP was from 1:30-2:30 p.m.
INSPIRATION WORKSHOP was from 3:00-4:00 p.m.

Richard Willoughby our 1998 State King and International King was the featured speaker. This workshop was so well attended that they had to move it to the main floor of the Civic Center
