Hawange National Park

Hawange National Park is a huge slice of Zimbabwe which has been set aside purely for the purpose of conserving wildlife in its natural habitat.  Over 14,000 square kilometers large, Hawange boasts over a hundred different species of animals and four hundred species of birds.  Hawange is also one of the few remaining elephant sanctuaries left in Africa.  On our two drives around the park we saw many different animals and the evening sights from our hotel vantage point were gratifying.
