Mainely Weddings philosophy is this:
I am here to make your wedding YOURS. Your dreams and ideas become my palette to work from. I believe that a bride and groom's wedding should be what they envision, not their family, friends, or neigbors, or the wedding consultant. I believe a couple can and should get their "way" without being obnoxious.
A couple's individuality and relationship makes thier wedding unique and memorable. Expressing thier individuality should be a couple's main focus.
Many grooms have excellent ideas, though many involved in the planning process tend to discount them. I believe the groom should be allowed to have as much say in the planning process as he wants. I do not feel however (I still believe in some of the old traditions) this should include picking out the bride's gown or seeing her on the day of the wedding. The bride, however, should be sensitive to the groom's taste.
I believe that bridal professionals should not design or advise based on thier own preferences. I realize there is a difference between what I would do for my own wedding, and what would be appropreiate and expressive for the couple I am working with. Each wedding I work on is special to me NOT because it fits a personal goal of mine, but because it reflects the unique tastes and relationship of the couple. If it doesn't, I haven't done my job.
I will not tell you that I have the most creative wedding ideas, or that somehow "I KNOW" what's best for your wedding. I know that YOU have the best idea of what will make your wedding wonderful and memorable for you. I believe that my job is to assist you in selecting what is appealing, appropriate, available, and affordable. I am here to make your wedding dreams come true.
