Richard and his family on the ship James in 1635 and

and a mould for casting buttons of lead or pewter was brought
with them from England and is still owned by the family in
Portland.

Newbury 21 May 1663 requesting that Emery's fine of £4 for
harboring Dr. Henry Greenland be abated. This petition was
signed by many of Emery's friends.(1)
In his will dated 5 May-23 June 1670 he gave his wife
Ann £11 per year and the privilege of living in the end of
the house and the use of any of his goods that she might have
use of.
He gave his daughter Sarah Bartlett £10. He gave £80 to
his daughter Marie Downer and her husband Joseph Downer. He
gave £20 each to his grandchildren Joseph and Marie Downer.
He also gave each of his daughters land. He gave £10 to his
wife's grandson Thomas Haines. The rest of his estate went
to his son John.
