All dogs that come to us will be evaluated for temperment. A dog we decide to adopt out must have a stable temperment and be safe around people. If we decide a dog is a safety threat, we will make the decision to euthanise the dog in question. Putting people at risk does no one any good, especially the  Akita breed. All Akitas will be spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and current on all vaccinations. An adoption fee will be required to help cover these costs. Whenever possible a home check will be conducted to ensure a good match between adopter and dog. We will do everything we can to match the dog that is suitable for your family. Unless  otherwise noted I do not have possession of the dog listed and have not evaluated said dog.
