This gun performs beutifully. Its automatic fire mode drains the magazine in under a second and sustains a high rof. The range is very resonable for a pistol, especially with the short barrel length of the G26. Although range is good, it is not quite on par with an AEG, but that is expected for a sidearm. For close quarters, this would be the pistol I would take over other gbb's I have tried because of its compactness and automatic feature. It has sights with white dots to make it easier to use in low light conditions and is all around a wonderful gun.
We had some slight leakage from one of the two mags we got but it was nothing serious and it drains at such a slow rate that the mag still fires after having six hours. This could be most likely fixed with a simple o-ring or a new fill valve, both of which, are cheap and easy to get your hands on at many retailers. This also did not start immediately, but came sfter a couple month of use. The other mag has been free of any leaking.
The G26c can be found at many U.S. or overseas retailers for $110-130 and I would have to say that is a great value. It has an abs slide that is very durable and That is how I would keep it even though metal slides are available, because it allows the slide to run much more smoothly and the gun will be more accurate since there will not be so much weight being shifted on the top of the gun. The gun's fire-selector is on the back left so a right handed person can change the firing mode easily with his thumb. On the top of the selection is semi, the middle is safe, and the bottom is full auto. It is very easy to Change.
If you are looking for a reliable and accurate gas gun with the added full auto function, this is gun to get. It is well worth every penny you spend on it and fits in many tactical holsters. No matter what role you play, this is a nice addition to your airsoft armory.
