This is my audio system from hell!!
Everything Rockford Fosgate..TeamRF member....As you can see I currently have two 12' Power Hx2's subwoofers powered by a Power 800.2 amplifier. These things really wake the neighbors up!! To handle the massive power of these babys I have in place two 1.0 Farad capacitors I had the box custom built for the trunk and I am using 4 Gauge pwr wire. I also have my trunk completly covered with Dynamat X treme to produce a better SPL. This whole set up including parts for install and bolting/welding security features cost about $1400 dollars. Purchased from Zebaudio.com Anyone who knows car audio knows that having a good SPL doesnt mean you have good SQ so ofcourse I had to finish my audio system off with a complete set of RF front door and rear speakers, including high powered tweeters in the front. (RF FanaticQ 5.25 component system) Behind all this power I have an Apline 7893 cd player. This set up ran me about $590.09....Total Package over $3500 dollars. This setup is so loud that it cracked the spoiler on my car twice in 3 places......My buddy's at Pontiac aren't going to cover me anymore........ I know Rockford competes closely with JL but I won't buy anything else! |
