Columbia - Challenger Silver Coin

Designed by two NALC Letter Carriers and a friend.

COLUMBIA & CHALLENGER SHUTTLE, SILVER COIN

The Columbia side shows its tiles and many other details in its return flight. The Challenger side features its boosters, a USA on one wing and an American Flag on the other wing, which is also beautifully detailed. This coin has detailed frost like Shuttles, with Seven Stars representing the lost crew members. The backgrounds have a proof like mirror finish. This One ounce Silver Medal comes encapsuated and boxed and is slightly larger than a silver dollar. The edge is stamped with the Mint and .999 fine silver. This Medal is Made in the USA. This is a great Historical Medal to add to your collection, as it is beautifully detailed and shows the dates that both the Columbia and the Challenger were lost. Quantities will be limited, as the medal is privately issued. The initials of the Three co-designers appear on the Challenger side.
