2. What are the rules for this site?

Click Here to see the rules or continue reading below.

Have fun! Our rules may be long, but they are used as guidlines to keep this site in a nice and safe enviroment. We are not strict! If it comes to our attention someone is not following the rules we will send them a warning. If it occurs again we will politely ask the person to leave and delete all information they had on this site. Banning is rare. Any conflicts with the rules or with another member can easily be discussed and thought over. Enjoy!
------------------------------------------------------------------------
++ Be respectful, no spamming. We ask for no harsh language or cuss words, and that you respect every member of the site. Harsh feelings should be reported to the administrator and discussed, don't take into your own hands to handle. Please have no references or links to pornographic material of any kind, or links to places that disagree with the rules of this site.

++ When selecting a character, please do not name yourself any of the main characters from the Wheel of Time books. This includes: Rand, Egwene, Mat, Elayne, Aviendha, Min, Moiraine, Lan, Mazrim Taim, Faile, or any of the Forsaken or lengendary characters. Others are perfectly fine.

++ Individualism is well respected and original characters are encouraged, but don't be too abnormal. You cannot be invincible, able to channel three times as much as people like Nynaeve or Rand, or able to channel both saidar and saidin. You may use temporary characters such as Ogier or Shadowspawn to liven an RP as NPC's, but please do not make yourself out of the ordinary. NPC's can be used freely although we ask that you do not use them as much as a normal member. An NPC can consist of anyone except the Dark One, Dragon Reborn, or Forsaken.

++ Do not have out of character discussions on the RP board. Speaking to another person or asking a question in an RP post is perfectly fine. We ask that you do not use the roleplaying boards for personal or OOC discussions.

++ RPs should take place about the time of Crown of Swords and Lord of Chaos. Please do not do RPs consisting of you having a conversation with the Dragon Reborn. Please keep all mention of main characters from the series (i.e. Dragon Reborn) and their plots at the bare minimum. We do not wish confusion. Male channellers are to be uncommon. You may use them as NPC's if needed, but if you wish to become an Asha'man or enroll in the Black Tower please contact the administrator for special notice.

++ If you come to a situation such as a duel or a fighting position, please do not kill, capture, wound or anything else to harm another character unless you have their permission.

3. Where should I start Roleplaying?

To roleplay go to the White Tower RP Board located in the Main Menu on the main page. The suggested forum to start would for a Novice the Novice Quarters, an Initiate the Training Yard, or the White Tower board. You can only start roleplaying once you've received your login details and become a member.

4. Are there any raising requirements?

Yes, there are requirements to be raised.
++For a Novice to become raised to Accepted, she must complete two classes, involve in two-three roleplays, and submit a biography. It is suggested the Novice complete one class in the Five Powers class and one in the Weaves Class. A biography should be around three to four paragraphs long with a detailed account of her life. She needs to be involved in two roleplays if her involvement is high, and three if they are incomplete or her posts are low.

++For an Accepted to get raised to Aes Sedai, she must state which Ajah she would like to join, have one RP involving her interest in the Ajah with an Aes Sedai to tutor or teach of the Ajah. She must complete the Three Arches and be involved in at least three-four RPs. The Ajah she wishes to join will consult with one another to decide if she is ready or not to be raised. If decided she is not, the Accepted will continue roleplaying until the Ajah summons her. She can only start and complete the Three Arches when the Ajah she wishes to join has told her she is ready.

++For an Initiate to become raised to a Full Warder, he must be involved in four RPs. He also must have 2 duels with another Initiate(s) and perform one deed for an Aes Sedai or Accepted. He must also submit a biography of about three to four paragraphs of a detailed account of his life in and before the Tower. The raising requirements aren't as much for someone on the path to be Warder because there are only two ranks.

++For an Aes Sedai to become a Sitter, she must consult with her Ajah her request. Once the Ajah has discussed it and agreed, only then will she be able to become Sitter. She must be an active roleplayer and be involved on the General OOC Board. She will be given responsibilities. There are only three seats per Ajah for Sitters.

++For a Full Warder to become anything for responsibility such as Master of Initiates or Master of Arms, he will be contacted by the Tower or administrators. He can also be elected by the Initiates to be Master of Initiates or can be elected by the Initiates and Warders to be Master of Arms.
