    Kebby Sililo Kambulu Musokotwane, Zambian politician and educationist, was born on May 5, 1946 and married Muzya Regina Bulowa in 1967 and was father to four sons and two daughters. He was educated at Monze Secondary School, Livingstone Teachers College and University of Zambia. He served as a school teacher and college lecturer before being appointed Minister of Water and Natural Resourses in 1977-78; moving on to Minister of Youth and Sport 1979; Minister of Finance 79-83; Minister of General Education and Culture 1983-85.

    He was appointed Prime Minister in 1985 serving until 1989 when he was demoted back to Minister of Education. He was appointed Zambia's High Commissioner to Canada in 1990-91.

    Musokotwane briefly lead the United National Independence Party before he died in February 1996 at age 49.
