This is a small house ... 450 square feet under a huge natural tile roof. A screened porch wraps around 2 sides of the house, almost doubling the available living space. There is one bedroom, with a queen-size built-in bed, clothing storage and a ceiling fan/light. The headboard of the bed is actually a built-in desk, which we 've used as an office/computer space. The bath is basic, toilet, sink, tiled hot-water shower. The living/dining area has a built-in round table with poured concrete banquette seating. With cushions ! There's a ceiling fan with lights over the table. The upholstered wicker couch can be replaced by a double size futon/sofa to double the sleeping space. The kitchen is galley-style, with a full-size stove/oven, stainless steel sink, refrigerator/freezer, toaster, coffeemaker, and microwave. There are good under-counter storage drawers. There are also ceramic tile counters and another laminated work surface. There's ample dish/tableware/pot and pan storage, and pegboard wallls as well to hold the full array of kitchen utensils furnished. On the screened porch is a comfortable hammock, a table and 4 casual chairs, and 2 typical leather rocking chairs. All the floors are polished brick. All linens are furnished, and weekly laundry arrangements can be made.
This house has weekly floor and window cleaning by Ana, and Jose keeps the grounds in order. There is a phone and ISDN offering 128K data speed for your computer. An Internet account is already set up. The rent is $150/week and $450/month. Tenants who rent by the month are responsible for phone and electricity.
