Have you ever thought why we don't hear anything but ads of Pepsi and coke ? be it in TV, newspapers and what not, they have been competing in covering the entire roadsides with their postures and banners and that too let me remind u, in high quality polymer sheets with 6 color printing ,........ The best possible quality.......have u eve wondered how this is possible......... By the end of their first year since introduction 75% of the money in Asia was coming from the indian youth for Coke!!!!
to put in some facts........
Coke or cocoa cola and pepsi were not marketed in India until we became a part of the free market not more than few years back ......... coke was marketed some time back and then it was banned for the reason that one of its ingredients were not revealed and the government saw a health hazard......... its really surprising the government found no trouble when it was brought in now......... pepsi was being marketed by lehar ........ a joint venture with 51 % share belonging to lehar..... At the advent of coke and pepsi there were not less than 25 companies manufacturing and marketing soft drinks on a national basis......... after the advent no one realized that these brands were slowly being swept out of market ......... even if someone noticed they would never have given it a second thought........ perhaps they didn't find a reason for that....... for those who think brands like 7UP and limca still exists try to read the details printed on it next time ...... the string of events that took place after the advent of the two giants were really horrendous....... for the industry........ most of the softdrinks companies were either persuaded or allured to merge with the giants or sell off their firms .............. and for those who resisted the move the giants knew not just decent business.............
no major softdrinks company of indian ownership escaped the onslaught of the giants.......... scores of people lost their jobs from the various factories........... indians gave over one industry solely to foreign giants or rather they deprived us of an industrial sector as a whole in one sweep........and we stood unmoved���watching the hapless victims die off�.. are we not reverting back to colonization ..... are we not going to the pre-independence time of imperialism and colonization? we who pride in being the largest democracy is giving in to the foriegn giants to dictate our economy....... this is just one episode ........ a token of what is in stock............ at present there is hardly any manufacturing sector present in any field whatsoeverl....... cars, television, refrigerator, copiers, printers, washing machine......... u name it ............ nothing is made in india anymore ........... its all brought from abroad and assembled here........... even companies who used to manufacture in india like BPL, MODI XEROX, SOLIDAIRE...... are now resorting to assemble parts manufactured outside india, india is being converted into a major customer market when it is being robbed of its industries at the same time .......... perhaps the only industry that has been thriving in india presently is the software industry ��with india being the largest exporter of software........ but dont keep ur hopes high.......... we are having competors soon ...... Chinese have decided to coach all their people in english not for communication but to take over software......
the dooms days of industries in india is not far unless we the citizens of india realise what is going around us........ one simple thing that u could do is to use ur head the next time u buy a product ....... coke or pepsi does not energize you ......... rather it enervates u........... Westerners prefer packed foods because they cant afford restaurants or they dont have the availability or time to prepare food..... dont be carried away by such stupid things.........when u go in search of more and more western dishes let me remind you , indian food is supposed to be the richest, spiciest, and tastiest food in the world!!!! we should either be ignorant or stupid....... i suppose ignorance would be better to settle down with....... so let us admit it �. And think about what to do abt it��.
Let me sugest what to do:
- Cosmetics is the one field next to softdrinks that the western giants have targetted, there are hardly any indian players in the market today. So lets start from there. All of us use soaps and toothpastes��.. let me tell u what is shown in the ads are the greatest lies that have been ever told ��� go for trade marks like cinthol, godrej, santoor, herbal soap like chandrika and radhas�
- Clothing is the next field that is facing rapid westernisation ��� u can understand adoption of a western style if u feel it is comfortable but its none other than dolts would go for western brands at higher costs��. Go for the product man ���. What do u gain by making those westerner's pockets fat.
- Keep in mind what u believe in achieving and no more guidelines would u need �.. <
Before I stop let me remind u, u r a part of one of the oldest and most advanced civilizations in the world��� the amount of refinement and mental development u have reached is n times in advance of any other race around the world���. Prove it to the world
