Pastie cops a wall of trouble

Notoriously known Bendigo Umpire Mark Caldwell a.k.a "Pastie", was last night involved in a fracas with another man at the Universal.

For those of you who may not know Pastie, you would have more than likely come across him in the street. Sporting a Bendigo Umpires Jacket and baseball cap everywhere he goes as well as a ciggy to keep him going.

The actual reason for the incident was unclear but Pastie was thrust into a wall near the pool table area at the Universal night club in McCrae street.

In other Umpiring News an unidentified umpire was last night reported to have been cutting the lunch of a regular Maher on Monday personality..
