1 ) Log-in you're Hotmail account an go to Options.
2 ) Then go to My Profile (Personal > My Profile).
3 ) Fill in the following information:
Country: Australia. City: Victoria
Zip Code: 4100 or 3101
< * MAKE SURE YOU'RE YEARS 13 OR OLDER! >
4 ) Save the information and return to you're Hotmail options.
5 ) Go To Language. { just follow on as it says, even if it is eng.
already ;) }
6 ) Set it to English.
7 ) Go to:
http://by17fd.bay17.hotmail.msn.com/cgi-bin/Accountclose
or
http://memberservices.passport.net/memberservice.srf?
and close your Account.
8 ) Wait until the Screen says your Hotmail is Closed and ready to
be delete..
9 ) Go back to
www.hotmail.com
10 ) Log-in to your Closed Hotmail account again.
And reactivate your hotmail account.
You're Inbox will be 25 MB for now but after 30 Days it will mostly be
250 MB !!!
You can also send files up to 10 mb
NOTE: FOLLOW THESE STEPS AT YOUR OWN RISK
I have done it well.. upgraded my mail... no mails were deleted, yours
will be protected too and will never lost... n as for Msngr contacts etc
also.... they all will be there as they were before.. the reason is when
you change your country to australia, your default MSN would be NINEMSN and in
ninemsn there's an option that it wont delete msgs etc whether it becomes
inactive...
but act now.. before msn revises (changes) its policy..
