My Friends: |
Is a
person really known by the company he keeps? Its debatable but the real
thing is that
"Your company should be known by you". Its my idealism, what is yours? |

My Brother and My Cousins: |
I've a closely packed
family. Since my childhood, we all cousins used to gather in our
maternal grand father's house and play in the evening. They are my automatic
friends. All
of us are like brothers and share millions of moments of joy and sorrow felt
together. My
friend cousins include Ghulam Fareed, Owais, Ghouse, Shakoor, Aasif, Mansoor,
Zeb,
Ahmad, Mughees, Manu (now) and obviously my brother Ateeq Shahzad. I pray to
ALLAH
to keep
all of us united for ever. |

Early Teenage Friends at School: |
Usman Masood,
Zain-ul-Aabdeen, Hassan, Zeeshan lambu, Ameer Ali, Asad etc were my
friends when I was studying at Pioneer High School in Bahawalpur. I remember
some very
good moments with them. I remember the times when all of us used to play
hand ball or
Pakran Pakrai in the school ground during free periods and mid breaks. We
also used to
gather in the evening and used to rush into a nearby nursery on our bicycles
making our
ways through muddy tracks, grassy grounds and bumpy roads. All of them were
good
friends but alas, I am not in contact with any of them nowadays. May they be
in the best of
health, wealth and righteousness. |

Late Teenage and Early Twenties Friends: |
Ali Maswan, Abuzar
Hassan, Mohsin Shah and Umar Farooq used to be my friends at the
prime of my youth (what I think was the prime time). I spent a lot of time
with each of these
friends and occasionally come into contact with them even now. Ali was my
cousin while
Abuzar and Mohsin were neighbors. We four had a group and we used to wander
on the
roads of Bahawalpur going from famous Saraiki Chowk to Satellite Town market
and
entertain ourselves with food and stuff in the ways. I remember that we used
to do female
makeup of Abuzar and then make fun of people around. The moments are
memorable.
Though there were many set backs but yet there was a lot to remember for
ever.Umar Farooq was a very
nice fellow, now a proper Molvi. He and I used to go the mosque
daily five times and did discussions on Islamic beliefs for hours in the
nights when the very
next day we had our final exams. He was a real good friend at those times.
May ALLAH
give him the best from His treasures. |

Current Friends: |
Waseem Ahmad, Umar
Qureshi, Fraz Ghafoor, Salman Yousaf, Zafar Ali, Waqar Rasheed,
Zeeshan and Salman Waris are my friends at the moment. Among them, Waseem
and
Umar became my friend in CA while others are Informatics friends. Each one
of them
deserves to write separetely about them in detail but I'll do it sometime
later. All of them are
very nice, sincere and loving people and I am having a great time with them.
I am more in
touch with Salman Yousaf and Zafar Ali nowadays. Both of them have always
been very
helpful to me whenever I needed. I wish everyone such sincere friends. Both
of them have
some amazing qualities which are often not found in people. I am learning a
lot from them.
ALLAH bless them and may He enable me to be somewhat beneficial to them. |
