Presently, it has an enrolment of 600 students and has become the largest hospitality training provider in the Southern Malaysia and one of the largest of its (unique) kind in Malaysia. The unique
programs which combines theory and practical "hands on" exercise has attracted not only Johorean but also students from other states of Malaysia. Today, IHYPJ has a network of
more than 60 hotels. Its present collaboration with Chefs Association of Malaysia (Johor Chapter) as well as other future hotel associations remarks the identification of the industry recognition
for hospitality training.
The mission marks "MEMBANGUN TENAGA MAHIR DAN SEPARA PROFESIONAL INDUSTRI
HOSPITALITI DAN PERHOTELAN" shall be preserved and held amongst its dedicated and brilliant trainers. The essence
of this motto will be embodied in guiding this college for its endevour.
