I had my first job when I was 15. I was a typist, working for my Uncle's company. Since then, I worked every summer through high school and worked at a part-time job through my university years. Working environment is very important for me. When you are at the workforce, you get a chance to meet a lot of different people. Some are really nice, some are really hard to get along. But that's how I gained experiences working with different people. I love having a job, it's not just about making money, it's about teamwork, friendship, and accomplishment. The following jobs are the best ones I have ever had.

I worked for Starbucks for 2 years and 4 months throughout my university years at Carleton University, Ottawa. I started with knowing nothing about drinks and cash register to became an assistant supervisor, I had worked with many nice coworkers and some unfriendly ones, so were the customers. Last December, last month at work, I received a certificate of employee recognition for my hard work and dedication. www.starbucks.com
In the summer of 2004, I was working for the dean of the Economics department, Professor Huntley Schaller of Carleton University. He was writing an Economic book. So, my job was to prepare powerpoint slides for his conference, did research in the library and on the internet, and etc. My job title was word processor, it was quite an easy job compare to they paid me $16/per hour. I did gain a lot of office working experiences too. www.carleton.ca
