Hawla is magwayen's first ever produced play. It was originally presented in February 1999, capping Magwayen's first schoolyear in PLM.

It was directed then by Shengka Mangahas. After eight years, Hawla is brought back to the stage by Indrapura's John Borgy Danao. Featuring both new and veteran actors, Hawla tackled timely and socially relevant issues like AIDS and prostitution, drug addiction, teen suicide, pre-marital sex and peer pressure.
