~Christmas~ I hear bells jingle in the distance, and I know that Christmas is here. It's a time of the year, that holds a magic within itself. A diamond that never once sparkled before. Now the glare blinds me, just in the candlelight. As I see you smiling, there by the door. A kiss exchanged under the mistletoe, candlelight everywhere... The Christmas lights, glow in their own show... Outside the window, carols sung, and jingled bells. This perfect time with you, indoors from the snow. We breath icy breaths in the cold Winter air, outside. Side by side on the balcony we look at the solitary view. The night sky is crisp and clear, black broken by the moon. And I can't help but exchange another kiss with you... It all seems so fresh and innocent again to me. In the dim room we exchange our presents under our tree. Just us here, no one else dances in our own private world. And your smile is present enough for me. We have our dinner in the candle light, raising our glasses. It is this time now, and you, that I shall always adore. A toast to us, and this Christmas together. May we have so many more...! |
