~Gray Sky Called Sorrow~
 by The Magus

Is it a crime for someone like me to fall in love?
I don't need it to live, but I've wished you feel it for me.
The grass is brown beneath my tired feet...
Just a sign of the way our fates seem to want to be.

The leaves, they fall, framed against a gray sky called sorrow...
A sky we have both shared ourselves...
Children cried,
Old friends died,
Two people far apart sighed...
Dragged down to earth from the sky by loneliness.

...

Don't you think I could wipe away your tears?
Even though in pain, I too can stumble and fall...?
The sky doesn't have to be gray anymore...
This is everything, and without you it is nothing at all.

If one was to vanish, the other could not make it all right...
Do you know where I would be...
I cannot fly,
In that sky,
Or dream of days that have gone by...
Without you, there is only the gray sky of sorrow.
