This dream I have, it's a beautiful mystery. I want you to awaken my soul and make it real. It's hot on my flesh, The sun so oppressive. I wish I was dreaming of you. Slivers of light through mosquito mesh, It's anyone's guess, When I'll have anything to wake to. So I'm going to sleep... And it feels so cool, Like a limpid pool Of starry darkness, colors swirled. And I lay in my bed, And sleep like the dead, To forget my lonely, desperate world. I always see you in my dreams...! In gentle orchards, a wonderful and gorgeous rose! My vision... Embracing me, the beauty my subconscious chose. Take my hand... I'll stay here with you, until my dream goes. And dream until it is you I wake up to. Oh yes... I always see you in my dreams...! In the distance, I'm struggling through the sleeping sands. Towards you... Searching for you, in this dark and imaginary land. So close now... I'm reaching out, and now you can take my hand. I'll pull you from my dreams, to sweet reality. I always see you in my dreams...! Hand held out to me, an infinite universe away. You're here... To take me from the dark into the light of day!
