*~*  Broken Rose  *~*

The tubes were made by Susan
of the Tube's Place.

This tutorial was written for  PSP 9.
No Filters were used.

MATERIALS NEEDED:
Animation Shop
1 woman tube from Yvonne.
1 rose tube and 1 text tube from Yvonne.
6 scrap tubes, all included in the zip file.
Download the supplies here.

METHOD:
This is a scrap tutorial.
A good knowledge of PSP is required.
Choose two colors from the tube.
Foreground - light.
Background - dark.
Gradient:
Style - Radial 0
Repeats - 3.

Open the tubes in the zip file and minimize them.
You can eventually colorize them.

Open a new transparent canvas, size 500 - 450.
Fill with the gradient.

Open the rose book.
Copy and paste as a new layer.
Position it to the far left.
Reduce the opacity of this layer to 40%.
Change the Blend Mode to Luminance (Legacy)

Copy and paste the lady tube.
Position it to the right.

Copy and paste the 'roselace'- tube.
Apply a drop shadow: 1-1-83-5.
Position it to the bottom left.

Open the  'roserandje' - tube.
Copy and paste onto the canvas.
Repeat the same drop shadow.
Position it nicely on the top edge as seen
in the example.

Duplicate this layer and rotate 90 degrees.
Position the border in the bottom right corner.
Merge all layers.

Copy and paste the 'rosebolletje' tube.
Arrange it where you like it.
You can add some more if you like.

Copy and paste the 'rosebroken' - tube.
Drag it to the top left as seen in the example.

Copy and paste the 'strikje'.
Drag it nicely into the "B" of the text.
Apply the same drop shadow.

Copy and paste the 'rosebolletje2'- tube.
Hang onto the letter "K" of the text!
Use your lasso tool ( Freehand selection Tool)
to remove the string from the smaller letters.

Copy and paste the 'rosecorner' - tube.
Position it in the top right corner.

You can animate it now if you like.
Below is the steps to do it.
Add a 1 pixel border.

ANIMATION.
Open Animation Shop- standard in PSP 9.
Click on the yellow file-icon to open the files.
Find the 'etoile 9' animation image.
It contains 8 frames.
Go to Edit --> Select All.
Edit --> Copy.
Leave it for now.

Open PSP again and copy the image that you have just made.
Paste it as a New Animation into AS.

You will need 8 frames to fit the etoile animation.
To do that: go to Edit --> Duplicate Selected.
Duplicate it until you have enough frames of your own image.
If you have more than 8 just click on the extra frames - one by one
and delete them.

Drag your image out to reveal all the frames.
Go back to frame 1 of the image.
Edit --> Select All.
Edit --> Paste into Selected Frames.
The etoile animation will cling to the mouse pointer now.
Position it where you want it and then just click on the spot in the frame.
Click on the animation icon to view the animation.

Click on the animation icon again when you want to close it.
This way you can add several animations to the image, if you want to.

Go to File --> Optimization Wizard.
Go through all the steps.
The second window that opens looks like this:

Click on 'Customize'

Choose these options below in the window that opens:

Now you can save your image as a GIF file
with a name of your choice :)

You're finished !!
