Silver Thoughts

The tutorial can be done in any version of
PSP. An average knowledge of
PSP is required.

This tutorial was done in PSP 8

MATERIALS NEEDED:
5 tubes supplied by Yvonne

METHOD
Open the 'zilver' jpg
Duplicate the image and minimize the original.
Apply a Gaussian Blur of 20.
Effects --> Texture Effects --> Mosaic Glass:
100-100 symmetric = checked.
4-20-1-1.
Sharpen 1x.


Copy the tube 'mask' and paste as a new layer.
Copy the tube 'flower' and paste as a new layer.
Drag it nicely into the bottom left corner
Merge all layers
(Layers --> Merge--> Merge All).

Open a new transparent canvas, size 600-400.
Selections --> Select All.

Copy the first image that you have made.
Activate the bigger canvas and paste it into the selection.
Open the mask tube again.
Rotate 90 degrees ( rotate all layers = checked)
Copy.


Activate the bigger canvas.
Selections --> Select All
Selections --> Modify --> Contract by 30.
Selections --> Invert
Add a new raster layer.
Paste the mask into the selection.
Sharpen 1x.
Keep selected!

Copy the silver image.
Add a new raster layer on the bigger canvas
and paste the silver image into the selection.

Selections --> Modify --> Contract by 3.
Press the delete key.
Deselect.
Sharpen 3x.


Apply a drop shadow with these settings: 6-6-34-6.
Merge all layers.

Copy the tube 'silverlady' and
paste as a new layer onto the canvas.
Shift it to the right.


Copy the tube 'silver candle' and
paste as a new layer onto the canvas.
Drag it into position.

Add a 10 pixel border.
Select and fill with the silver pattern.
Apply a nice inner bevel.
Add a nice text of your choice
as well as your name.
Your tag is finished! :)
