Ghost City

The tutorial can be done in any version of
PSP. An average knowledge of
PSP is required.

This tutorial was done in PSP 8

MATERIALS NEEDED:
2 tubes supplied by Yvonne

METHOD.

Open a new transparent canvas, size 400-400.
Make a gradient: Sunburst -
with the colors white and #2A1357.
The white should be in the center.
Fill the canvas.

Copy the tube 'town' and
paste as a new layer onto the canvas.
Change the layer Blend mode to 'Hard Light'.
Merge all layers
(Layers --> Merge--> Merge All).

Add a 1 pixel black border.
Copy your image.
Add a border with these settings:
Left and top = 1
Right and bottom = 35.
Select and paste into selection.



Apply Effects --> 3D Effects --> Inner Bevel,
with these settings: Bevel 2,  4-25-4-30-55-320-25-40.

Repeat the border,
but this time the settings should be:
Left and top = 35/
Right and bottom = 1.
Apply an inner bevel.
Minimize this image for now.


Open a new transparent canvas, size 600-400.
Fill with the gradient.
Selections --> Select All
Selections --> Modify --> Contract by 35.

Add a new raster layer.
Activate your first creation.
Select the frame that you
have made( the inside
should not be included!)
Copy the frame
and paste it into selection
of the 600 pixel canvas.
Deselect.
Apply a drop shadow: 3-3-35-35.

Resize your first image to 350 in height.
Copy and paste as a new layer.
Drag this layer below the frame layer
in the Layers palette.
Drag it nicely to the left
as seen in the example.
Repeat the drop shadow.

Add a 10 pixel border, select, 
and fill with the gradient.
Apply an inner bevel.
Add a 15 pixel border.
Select and fill with the gradient.
Repeat the inner bevel.


Open the tube 'creature' and
paste as a new layer onto the canvas.
Drag it a bit to the right.
Set the blend mode to 'Luminance Legacy'.
You can add some animation on your own
if you like.
That's it!
