A Summer Tag

The
tutorial can be done in any version of
PSP. An average knowledge of
PSP is required.
This tutorial was done in PSP 8

MATERIALS NEEDED:
4 tubes supplied by Yvonne
Download here

METHOD.
Open a new transparent canvas, size 500-500.
Fill the layer with white.
Add a new raster layer.
Selections --> Select All.
Copy 'image 1' and paste into the selection.
Apply a Gaussian Blur of 50.
Set the layer opacity on 80%.
Paste 'image 1' as a new layer.
Shift it to the right.
Copy 'image 2' and
paste as a new layer onto the canvas..
Drag it to the left.
Make sure the two tubes overlap.
Merge the 2 layers.
Remove some of the hair if it doesn't look too good.
Copy the merged layer.
Press the delete button.
Paste as a new layer onto the canvas.
This way we ensure that it is centered
correctly onto the canvas.
Copy 'image 3' and
paste as a new layer onto the canvas.
Position it nicely over the second layer.
Remove the areas that you don't want there.
Merge the two layers.
Apply a drop shadow with these settings: 5-5-50-15.
Selections --> Select All
Selections --> Modify --> Contract by 2.
Selections --> Invert.
Fill with a color from the image.
Apply Effects --> 3D Effects --> Inner Bevel
with the standard settings.
Copy 'image 4' and
paste as a new layer onto the canvas.
Drag it into position.
Add your name.
Merge all layers.
The tag is finished! :-)
