The tutorial was created in PSP 9.

MATERIALS NEEDED:
Download the supplies here.

Open the supplies in PSP.

THE COLOR PALETTE
Change the foreground color to #000080
Background to #fae0e0
Background on gold pattern.

Open a new transparent canvas, 600 x 400 pixels.
Fill with the foreground color.

Copy and paste the tube ' ivy_08' onto the canvas
Image --> Resize: 90%.
Layers --> Duplicate.
Click on raster 2 in the Layers palette( to activate it).
Adjust --> Hue and Saturation --> Colorize:  255 - 175
Effects --> Distortion Effects --> Wind:
Windstrength 100 - right.
Activate the copy layer in the Layers palette.


Image --> Resize 85%
Change the opacity of this layer to 60% in the Layers palette.
Lock raster layer 1.
Activate one of the others.
Layers --> Merge --> Merge Visible.
Unlock raster 1.
Move the merged layer to the left.
Reduce the layer opacity to 88%.
Layers --> Merge --> Merge All.

Click on the Brush image in PSP.
Go to File --> Export --> Brush
Give it a name.
It will be available for you use now.
Activate the Brush Tool and find
your brush.
Size 250.
Apply it by right-clicking on the right side of the image.

Open the tube 'ballet2'.
Image --> Mirror.
Image --> Resize - 80%.
Copy and paste her onto the canvas.
Move her to the bottom right.
Layers --> Merge --> Merge All.

Image --> Add Borders: 1 pixel black.
Select with the Magic Wand.
Fill with the gold pattern.
Selections --> Select None.

Change the foreground to gradient:
Angle - 38
Repeats - 10

Image--> Add Borders: 5 pixels.
Select with the Magic Wand.
Fill with the gradient.
Selections --> Select None.

Image --> Add Borders: 1 pixel black.
Select with the Magic Wand and fill with the gold pattern.
Selections --> Select None.

Layers --> Duplicate.
Image --> Resize: 90%
Layers --> Merge --> Merge Visible.

Activate the Text Tool.
Choose a nice font.
Jeane used 'Saginaw', size 30.
Type the text onto the image.
Apply a drop shadow
V & H 1
Opacity  50
Blur 2
Copy and paste the corner accent onto the canvas.
Image --> Mirror.
Position it.
Layers --> Merge --> Merge All.
Add your watermark or name.
