6-19-2002- Alright, I started my page. this hasn't been an easy thought as I really wanted to use my Cable server for my webpage. But Alas, I'm on Yahoo! No biggie..

6-25-2002- Thanks for the insight on the bio... it isn't exactly a good bio by my standards, but it does explain things..

So goes another week. Let's see what this week brings. Maybe I'll have good news to report.
6-28-2002- Still no news.... Been working on trying to get an idea of what's going on... still two days in this week to go (Today and Tommorow)... and I know that next week is a short week, thanks to the 4th, but there will be three days at least...

Hoping for the best, but preparing for the worst in case it happens.... that's about all I can do.
7-5-2002-  Hope Everyone's 4th was good. I'm still waiting, but not much I can do.

I've decided that whatever happens, happens. I can't worry about the outcome, and if it isn't in my favor, I can always take it to my new Primary who happens to be my old Primary, and he'll argue with the Insurance company until the insurance company is blue in the face. Call my Dr the John McEnroe of Medical Drs.
7-8-2002-  I GOT IT!! I GOT IT!! I am APPROVED and have a date of August 29th!!!! OMG!!! I am SO Excited!!!! I have been non stop screaming for three and a half hours, and right now it's 3:30 pm.

OMG.. I have so much that I want to do before this!!!!!

and OMG.. Thank you god... Let's see what my surgeon pulls off on me!!
7-10-2002- Alright.. the date is confirmed. I now have my paperwork. I am waiting for Surgery Admissions to call me and set up my pre-admissions testing. I also have to set up an appointment for an Upper GI, an Ultrasound for my belly area, and a regular Doctor's appointment for medical clearance.  I also have to get my Vitamins, my Megnesium Citrate, my Dulcolax, anything that I can have on a clear liquid diet, and I also need my jello made up so I have it handy.

I also have a support meeting this Saturday. It will be the last time I see JR and Don as a Pre-Op, as Don is going on vacation during August's meeting, and JR is going to have his surgery on July 17th. I'm wondering if I'll make the September Meeting. Hmm......
7-15-2002- I have a lot to say so bear with me..

I know that it seems like I like to check in with a lot of people on the UPenn board who post that they are having surgery, but It's like my family on Spotlight. I may have just met a lot of the members on the board and in person, but I think that people on teh board would like to hear how surgeries went. 

I bring this up because JR, who I just met at June's Meeting in person, and met on the boards during a bad posting about the surgery,  is going into have I believe Open RNY on Wednesday (7-17-2002) and I will, yet again, be posting his condition on the UPenn board.

Also, with that in mind, I have also selected my angels on the Spotlight  Website. Kellie Jo and Sligo are my angels for that board. I have yet to ask, but I am going to ask Don to post my condition on the UPenn site, if he wouldn't mind doing so.  These were really hard decisions, as I know a lot of people were hoping to be blessed with the honor, but  I went with those who I knew knew me prety long and knew my battles, and my moods during this.  I'm not discouraging anyone from calling me, as I would be glad to hear from anyone. If you want to call, you would need to contact me and I will get back with my Info. That's all..

I will more then likely be scheduling my PAT's this week, as I need to have all my blood work, my Ultrasould (Wanna know if my gall bladder's going) and other tests done by August 19th, August 20th.. Somewhere in there, as stuff needs to be in within 7 working days before my surgery.
