Bizarre Thought to Addiction and Rehabbing
Alright.. there are three colors here.... Red Blue and Purple.

The Red represents the path that all taken until the fork in the road... And that's when we chose red or blue.... the majority have chosen the red... but those who have drug abuse, alcoholism, and yes even Morbid Obesity, take your fill on the detremental ideas, but we have chosen the blue path...

The Blue path as you can see stops at a certain point.. it also intersects with purple... it is at this point that we must decide: Change or die.... For many of us, that point has come, and we chose to get back on track, which is what the purple represents. As you notice, the purple goes straight at first, then goes into a dip, and then comes back up into the red, which is the right path.

The dip is the hard time we face in going thru the withdrawl and/or rehab.... that is why there is a dip.

If you think about it, I've read many stories where those post op have had problems or they were just having a rough time dealing with the changes. You will always have a hard time dealing with change, hence the low point in the dip.

The Low point gets to be a slight line where the curve comes back up. That's when you notice the change as things are better, and that you really made the right choice... I'm not saying that you probably thought you made the right choice just after surgery, because that's possible, but there's always that "What have I done to myself?" or some doubt at some point that you think you've made the wrong choice. It's when that realization that you know you made the right choice turns into an upwards point and leas you back to the red path.

Hopefully this is making sense so far...

Also, the pic, if you look at it  and think about it, it sorta looks like the stomach as it is bypassed.

Maybe I'm thinking too hard here, but here's the point to this ramble.

This is like the poem, "The Road Less Traveled" by Robert Frost. I you think about it, we all have taken the road less traveled twice, once with the detremental ideas, and then the cut through to get ourselves back on the right path.
