This wave file (newbie.wav) was derived from an internet interactive video game and  was played while the

game changed levels. It was used with a first-person shooter game.  A "Newbie" in a first-person shooter

game is another player who is not very good at playing the game (a novice in skill) and would fall easy prey

to an expert playing the very same game at the very same time (on the internet).
