Both sides of the argument use them as if they are interchangeable, but they aren't:
Pedolphilia is a psychiatric term, and it describes a reoccurring sexual arousal and desires directed toward a child.. The pedophilic impulse does not necessarily result in any inappropriate or illegal action or behaviour. There are several types of pedophilia, which we'll get to later. Being a pedophile is not, in and of itself a crime, providing the pedophile does not act on his impulses.
Molestation is a police term, and it refers to acts of a sexual nature committed against children. These acts can range from inappropriate touching or fondling, to intercourse. The offender may be a pedophile, or may not.
So you can see, the words are not the same: A pedophile is not necessarily a molestor, and vice-versa. Therefore it is impossible to be "guilty" of pedophilia. A person is diagnosed with pedophilia, but convicted (or not) for molestation.
As far as the discussion board, the implication is fairly clear: if people feel that Mr Jackson's behaviour is consistent with that of a pedophile, they are free to express that opinion, regardless of any trial result or proven act. However this is an opinion, not a fact.
As I mentioned earlier, there are several "types" of Pedophilia. These are the two that are discussed most often in the forum

Fixated (or exclusive type) pedophilia. The fixated pedophiles consider themselves to be trapped in childhood. They usually have minimum relations with adult peers, and relate better with children. They are identified mainly as men and their primary interest is in boys, with whom they develop boy to boy relationships. They typically plan their activities to promote access to young boys through church, neighborhood, or sporting activities.
Same-sex pedophilia. While most pedophiles who engage in or fantasize about same-sex children do not participate in heterosexual adult sexual relations, they also deny being homosexual. Instead, the pedophiles are more sexually aroused by male and female children than by either gender of adults. The average age of molestation among boys is between 10 and 12. Sexual activities typically involve fondling and adult masturbation and/ or oral stimulation of the boy, and anal sex with the adult male taking the active role.
