Why Do Haters Think Michael is Guilty
Apologist consistently maintain that the only reason that anyone believes that Jackson is guilty is because they have a personal hatred for him, fuelled by jealousy and/or racism. Here are some of the reason’s why some "haters" may feel the way they do about Jackson’s guilt:
1) Jackson has admitted publicly that he has slept in a bed with young children that are not his own progeny. Not illegal, by considered by many to be inappropriate. He later tried to claim that he didn’t say it, or that it was taken out of context, but in the Bashir documentary he clearly and unequivocally states that he has done so. *
2) Frank Tyson, alleged co-conspirator, claimed that he shared a bed with Jackson, and during that time Jackson wore only his underwear and that he initiated graphic sexual conversation about women. (and keeping in mind that Tyson is actually a supporter of Jackson and likely defense witness).*
3) Jackson stated that he did not drink alcohol from soda cans or give alcohol in soda cans to minors. The former is definitely a lie, as two airline stewardesses testified to regularly providing alcohol served in soda cans on flights. The latter is also likely false as Frank Tyson (one of Jackson's alleged co-conspirators) has claimed that Jackson allowed him to drink alcohol from soda cans when still a minor. *
4) Jackson’s lawyer submitted a motion disputing the claims made by the prosecution about how much damage alcohol would cause to this child, saying that despite being a cancer patient with only one kidney, the doctor’s for prosecution had greatly exaggerated the negative effects that alcohol would have on the alleged victim. This motion makes absolutely no sense unless Jackson had given the child alcohol. He could have argued that he did not engage in this act. Instead he chose to argue that his actions were not harmful. *
5) Jackson claimed that he never attempted to coerce the family into travelling to Brazil. However his photographer (and supporter) confirmed that Jackson and his alleged co-conspirators did in fact attempt to move the family to Brazil, and did so in order that the child not be available for further investigation.*
6) There is no question that at some point Jackson had Geragos cancel the families lease and put their furniture in storage, effectively leaving them homeless and dependent on him. Both sides confirm that this occurred, the only argument is whether it was done at the behest of the child's mother or solely on Jackson's orders.*
7) Jackson claimed to have been manhandled by the police during his arrest, and of having his shoulder dislocated and being confined in a toilet for 45 mins.* However Jackson was in the sheriff's office for a approximate total of 1 hour, and was see afterwards engaging in physical activities that would be impossible for someone with a dislocated shoulder. Later an Attorney General's investigate concludes that no such "manhandling" occurred. This does not directly bear on the case, but it severely damages Jackson's credibility.*
8) There is no doubt that Jackson, Geragos, Tyson, and Amen were engaged in a damage control exercise following the Bashir interview. All of the parties involved acknowledge this. In fact Geragos was hired specifically to orchestrate this exercise. There is nothing illegal about damage control, but if Sneddon can prove that any one of the alleged co-conspirators did anything illegal in connection with this damage control, then he will have effectively proven the conspiracy charge. *
9) Jackson has been accused of inappropriate contact with children before, and paid out $23M to the family of one accuser (this is undisputed) and very likely $2M to another. In addition, Jackson twice invoked the Fifth Amendment in regards to the first mentioned case. *
10) Jackson’s behaviour and lifestyle closely parallels well-established profiles for a seductive or fixated pedophile. His responses to the accusations of molestation echo those of known molesters.*
11) Jackson has a hidden room connected to his bedroom and an alarm system that alerts him to any approach to his bedroom. His staff also have standing orders that they are not to enter his bedroom at any time when he has children sleeping over. These orders have been confirmed by several employees, many of who are professed Jackson supporters. *
12) The raid on Neverland took place two days after Jackson's former private investigator began a prison sentence (for a crime not connected to Jackson). This man has claimed in the past to have recorded incriminating conversations with Jackson. He also was responsible for manufacturing the "smoking gun" tape that supposedly proved Chandler's father was an extortionist. *
13) Defense is trying like mad to have everything from Miller's office declared inadmissable, despite the fact that the videotapes supposedly strongly support Jackson's innocence. If those tapes are ruled inadmissible, then the defense can't enter them into evidence either. There are only two real possibilities here: Either the tape is not as exculpatory as the defense would like people to believe, or the other tapes seized are incriminating enough to offset any potential benefit from the alibi tape.*
14) Not one, but two, of the police officers who participated in the 1993 search of Neverland maintain that child pornography was found both on Jackson's computer and in his bedroom. They also have claimed than other material seized, although not illegal in and of itself, was consistant with what would be expected in the home of a pedophile. *
15) Despite unsupported claims to the contrary, both police officers also maintain that Chandler's description of the markings on Jackson's genitalia were a precise match to the photographs taken or same by police. *
16) The "adult magazine" found with the fingerprints at Neverland. On its own any apologist can dismiss it, but can they explain why the Defense very quickly released two different accounts for the magazine? Firstly it was claimed that the boy had rummaged through Michael personal stash of erotic materials, but then a week later they claimed that the boys had smuggled it into Neverland and Michael’s fingerprint was deposited on the page when he confiscated it from them. Which is it, and why the change?*
17) The current alleged victims testimony before the Grand Jury and Chandler’s deposition from 1993 share many similarities, despite the separation of ten years. Both are very plausible, and have convinced many people (certainly the Grand Jury did not dismiss it out of hand)*
There are numerous other things that can be added to this list, and doubtlessly will be.
Okay, 17 points. None of which on their own are particularly shocking or incriminating, or prove that Jackson molested this child (but like I've said, that's the prosecutor's job). Taken together, what they do prove, and rather strongly I think, is that it is possible for someone observing the case to decide for themselves that they believe Jackson to be guilty and for that decision to be based on deduction and sound reasoning; not the standard apologist dismissal of racial or class bias, homophobia, jealousy, or generic "hating".
Here were the criteria for things I selected to add:
1) They are all facts, confirmed and verifiable by anyone who wishes to take the time. No opinion, third hand information, supposition or unknown, anonymous "sources".
(Debbie Diamondis connected to none of them, to head off the usual standard dismissal)
2) They are all in the public domain. No privileged or confidential information. Nothing that is forbidden by the gag order (although #17 comes close). In fact, many have been acknowledged or confirmed by either Jackson or a known source close to Jackson.
3) All of these facts have appeared online, in a variety of permutations, with full supporting citations and sources appended, so no apologist can claim to be unfamiliar with this material, or that it is hearsay or invention.

Notes
1) Transcript from "Living with Michael Jackson" :
"Bashir: "Did you ever sleep in the bed with them?" Jackson: "No. But I have slept in a bed with many children. "I slept in a bed with all of them when Macauley Culkin was little: Kieran Culkin would sleep on this side, Macauley Culkin was on this side, his sisters in there...we all would just jam in the bed, you know."
Excerpt from 60 Minutes, Dec 28, 2003:
ED BRADLEY: You said, and — and I'm gonna quote here, "Why can't you share your bed? A most loving thing to do is to share your bed with— with someone."
MICHAEL JACKSON: Yes.
ED BRADLEY: As — as we sit here today, do you still think that it's acceptable to share your bed with children?
MICHAEL JACKSON: Of course. Of course. Why not? If you're gonna be a pedophile, if you're gonna be Jack the Ripper, if you're gonna be a murderer, it's not a good idea. That I'm not. That's how we were raised. And I met — I didn't sleep in the bed with the child. Even if I did, it's okay. I slept on the floor. I give the bed to the child.

2) “…Levin reports, "Frank Tyson told me he would occasionally share a bed with Michael Jackson and the two would lay there and have graphic sexual conversations about women -- though Tyson says Jackson never laid a hand on him."
3) From VH-1 Story:
"(Among the witnesses who corroborated the "Jesus juice" aspects of the boy's testimony were two airline stewards who told the grand jury that they routinely put white wine in Diet Coke cans for Jackson when he flies on planes.)"
The story can be found here and was confirmed in many other publications.
4) From "Michael Jackson Legal Team Suffers Setback" by Glenn Chapman; Aug 18, 2004
" Jackson's lawyers had also claimed that the affidavit exaggerated the harm that could be caused by alcohol to the young cancer patient, who prosecutors said had had one kidney, his gall bladder and his lymph nodes removed.
5) Interview with Ian Barkley, long-time Jackson photographer.
“They were afraid if the kids stayed on the ranch there would be more things coming up. There would be more reports, more investigations done," says Barkley. “As any wise businessperson would do, they just said, 'Let's remove the liability from us. And we won't have to deal with it.'"
6) From MJEOL
Note: This is one of the major apologist propaganda sites, and even they don’t question that Jackson had Geragos put the families furniture in storage.
7)From a letter from Martin A Ryan, Chief of the California Bureau of Investigation. 8) From an interview with Ronald Konitzer (alleged co-conspirator):
"In all fairness, (Mr. Geragos) was just running through the what-if scenarios," Mr. Konitzer said. "This was one measure he wanted to take so that at least if he (Mr. Jackson) were ridiculed in the media, then they could counter it.... As far as I know, this was not to defend him against molestation charges. It was all about media and public relations.

From another article on the same site:
“Mr. Konitzer recalled that he was in a Miami hotel room with Mr. Wiesner putting the finishing touches on a business strategy to boost the entertainer's career when they received a transcript of the BBC documentary by Martin Bashir, "Living with Michael Jackson," that was to air in England.
"Within 48 hours, the Bashir scandal hit," Mr. Konitzer said. "We knew it could be damaging for the business and that it needed to be addressed. The first action was trying to stop it."
Lawyers were hired to block the airing, but that didn't work. It was shown on Feb. 3. Then the video was sold to ABC for broadcast in the United States. "We had to prepare for the U.S. airing... It was like a hurricane was coming and we were going through the protective checklist."
More than a dozen lawyers were hired to deal with business issues. "Hiring a defense lawyer was basically to complete a 360-degree advisory board," said Mr. Konitzer, who chose Mark Geragos two days after the documentary aired here on Feb. 6, 2003.”

"Neverland Raid Linked to Jacko's Sexual Behaviour", Bill Zwecker, from the Chicago Sun-Times, 11-09-2003
"The raid on Neverland Ranch comes exactly one day after a former close Jackson associate went to prison. Anthony Pellicano has begun serving time in federal prison for possessing illegal explosives. He also has made headlines recently as allegations have come to light he is being investigated about whether he secretly taped conversations of celebrities -- including Jackson -- and their lawyers."

15) Interview with Bill Dworin, former investigator in the 1993 allegations and highly respected expert in sexual child abuse cases:
Dworin: “We had served a search warrant to photograph Michael Jackson. Those photographs corroborated the description that the boy gave us regarding Michael Jackson’s genitals.”
Mankiewicz: “The boy was able to describe discolorations of Jackson’s skin?”
Dworin: “Yes.”
Mankiewicz: “On his genitals, accurately.”
Dworin: “Very much so.”
From the New York Beacon, August 23, 1995:
16) The defense is now claiming that the boy's fingerprint was desposited on the magazine during his Grand Jury testimony, when he handled them.

"There was no conspiracy to abduct," Barkley says. “I think the intent of the Brazil trip was actually to distance Michael from the family, temporarily, just so that the relationships were a little bit separated. The family was, from what I understand, they were actually enthused about going to Brazil."
" Sources say Dickerman claimed, during that Dateline interview, that the accusing family came to him because the mother was concerned about some of her property being taken and put in storage by Jackson’s employees without her permission
Although, other sources have since come out and said that absolutely nothing was done without the accuser’s mother’s permission. And they have evidence to back it up, says one source, as reported by Roger Friedman (of all people)."
"In summary, this investigation did not uncover verifiable information that Mr. Jackson was injured at the hands of Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department personnel and no criminal misconduct on the part of Sheriff's personnel was identified. Should additional witnesses or viable information come forward in the future concerning these allegations, CBI will respond."

9) The statement of Jordan Chandler can be found here
"Former Los Angeles Police Detective William Dworin said he saw such a security system when he searched Neverland to investigate the previous molestation allegations.
"It was a warning system when someone approaches the door of the bedroom. It sets off a musical tone as well as an alarm-type sound in the bedroom," said Dworin, who now works with the Los Angeles city attorney's office on sexual abuse prevention programs. "
"But Sneddon told the magazine in its September issue that he has seen photos of Jackson's genitalia, and "his statement on TV is untrue and incorrect and not consistent with the evidence in the case." Others familiar with the evidence told Vanity Fair that the photos match descriptions given by a young boy to investigators."
An account of the current accuser's testimony can be found here
Well, except for Wheelie, of course, but then he lives in his own little fantasy world and it upsets him when reality intrudes.
