Second Semester at Syracuse
Well, I have just finished my first week of my second semester of college. I could have sworn that last week was two weeks long, but aparently it wasn't.
My winter break was fantastic; for an entire month I hung out with my most favorite people in the whole wide world, and I didn't have to bother seeing any of the loosers from high school that I never wanted to see again. Here are some of the vacation highlights:
~swing dancing
~"I'm bored, we should do something"
~driving to austin
~Robin & the MTM crew
~swing dancing
~my first Krispy Kreme
~driving to austin to go swing dancing
~movies
~Robin & the MTM crew
~"I just woke up and I'm hungry, wanna go get breakfast"
~midnights at TC's
~The Sims
the last thing I did with friends in San Antonio: went to Austin
(guess what I did in Austin.......went swing dancing!)

well, that was my break,
now here's what's going on now that I'm back in school:
LIT300: the great mystery course
I didn't know what I was getting myself into, but this postmodern litterature stuff is really cool. Postmodernity seems to be a good thing to follow up my Religion 101 class with. For the class I just read "Death and the Compass" by Jorge Luis Borges and I highly recomend it to anyone who loves, or hates for that matter, detective stories.
STUDIO: I got the new professor
She's from Germany and she's pretty cool. The first assignment is whack, but the good news is that it'll be over after next Friday. The people in my section are pretty cool too. I'm sitting next to my best friend Liz, and Josh, who is really funny. Across from me is Matt, who's also funny. I'm afraid Matt might be detrimental to my grade, only because he's so good at distracting me. Behind me is Nick, who's got this really comfy wheely chair. I think he's gonna hate me by the end of the semster because I keep sitting in his chair.
DRAWING: Cooper's teaching drawing this semester
I think I'll like drawing a little better this semester. It looks like it's going to be more technical and concrete than the stuff we did last semester.
STRUCTURES: why buildings stand up; why buildings fall down
I tbink I'll like this class. It apeals to my sense of logic and my sense of physics. But there sure is a lot of reading.
HISTORY: no more waddy...
The professor this semester runs his class much differently from the professor last semester. I think I'll be able to do better this semester than last semester.
