Make yourself heard! Justify your existence by standing for something! Check out these great organizations.
The Boston Campus Anti-War Coalition

The Love Makes A Family Youth Networ
k: A group of students working for LGBT equality in Connecticut.  Committed to learning together and empowering each other through legislative action.  I founded it, but Sarah Brochin runs the show now and she rocks!

Children from the Shadow
s: The largest conference in the country for lgbt youth and allies, as well as teachers and parents.  Its a celebration of queer youth, a giant support group, an amazing party, and a years worth of education, all in two days. Go to the website right now and register for next year! Ill be there running workshops, hugging old friends, volunteering, and trying to find a girlfriend. Just like every year.

The Connecticut Civil Liberties Unio
n: is amazing. They gave me an internship and taught me everything I know.  The Civil Liberties Union is one of the most incredible organizations around for the variety of issues they are concerned with.

The Gay, Lesbian and Straight Educators Networ
k:  Committed to empowering students and educators, they are focused on making schools safe for everyone. If you were ever picked on, you know how important this is. Join right now.

Amnesty Internationa
l: This one is a given. No one does as much to end human rights abuses around the globe. They even called the U.S. on our human rights violations.
